Disable Limewire Uploads

  1. First, with LimeWire open, click "Tools" on the menu bar, and then click "Options". (Help)
  2. In the left column of the options window, click on "Sharing". (Help)
  3. Under the "Shared Folders" window on the right side, click on any listings there are, and then click the "Remove" button. (Refer to step 2 screenshot)
  4. Next, click on the "+" button next to "Uploads" in the left column.
  5. With Uploads expanded, click on "Basic". (Help)
  6. Under "Upload Bandwidth", move the slider all the way to the left. (Help)
  7. Lastly, click on "Slots" in the left column.
  8. Under "Uploads Per Person" and "Max Upload Slots", change both the values in the boxes to 0. (Help)
