Answer:
Yes. You can check your e-mail at www.aski.ca by clicking on the webmail
icon and entering your e-mail address and password.

My internet connection is not working. What do I do?
Answer:
- Check all connections to ensure everything is plugged in
- If everything is connected, cycle the power on the CPE for
at least 10 seconds by unplugging it from the power source
- Reboot the computer
- If you have additional equipment attached to your computer,
such as a gateway or router, that equipment may need to be cycled
as
well
- If the problem persists, please contact Technical Support

What do I do if I can receive e-mail, but cannot send e-mail?
Answer:
When adding your e-mail account to your email client (eg, Outlook,
Outlook Express, Netscape) ensure that the “My server requires
authentication” box under the Outgoing Server section is checked
off.

What is Network Traffic?
Answer:
- aggregate total of all data sent, both upstream and downstream,
using an Internet connection
- it includes but is not limited to: email, web surfing, file
downloads/uploads, FTP (File Transfer Protocol) applications,
instant messaging (i.e.
ICQ, Microsoft Instant Messenger), chat rooms, audio/video streaming,
and MP3 downloading/uploading.

What payment options are available?
Answer:
Pre-authorized payment:
- have your invoice amount automatically deducted from your bank
account the 1st calendar day of each month.
Web or telephone banking:
- all major banks
- just use your 4-digit numeric Customer Number located in the top
right hand corner of your invoice when registering Askivision as
a payee
- Askivision is listed under cable companies
Credit Card:
- Visa, MasterCard or American Express – contact Customer Service
with your credit card number and expiry date.
Mail:

by mail in the self-addressed envelopes included with each invoice.
